Clerkship Opportunities for Law School Students

Are you a bright, hard-working, and ethical student at a California law school seeking experience in a personal injury law firm? Our Law Clerk program might be a perfect fit for you.

Attorney Jordan M. Jones and team believe in the longstanding tradition of strong mentorship and offering employment to outstanding law school students during the school year and summer. 

We are seeking future lawyers who might be a long-term fit to become the next generation of truck accident lawyers. 

Law Clerk Responsibilities

Law clerk responsibilities include:

• assisting lawyers in trial preparation 
• legal writing
• legal research 
• medical record reviews 
• writing demand settlement brochures 
• interviewing real witnesses 
• additional tasks that rely on applicants with exceptional verbal and written communication skills

In addition, there may be opportunities for law students to attend and assist in real personal injury depositions and trials, mock trials and focus groups, motion practice, facilitations and case evaluations.

Legal Internships

As an intern with our law firm, you’ll get a broad taste for the world of personal injury law and the specific practice area of truck and commercial vehicle accident cases. Some of the skills and experiences you may dive into include:

• Legal analysis and research
• Drafting contracts, briefs, memos and other legal documents
• Interaction with clients
• Other essential administrative tasks

Paralegals

Our paralegals assist the team of attorneys with a number of high level legal tasks that may include:

• organizing and preparing legal documents for cases and trials
• preparing correspondence and affidavits
• discussing important case details with lawyers and clients

We work with our paralegals to ensure they remain on the cutting edge of truck accident litigation. With that, we encourage our paralegals to attend legal seminars throughout the year.
